has anyone ever used the liquid solder.I bought a tube today & the instructions indicates i do not have to use any heat or soldering tools.everything has to be clean & dry other than that just apply.bonds overnight & use whatever you were using the solder on. name of product---bondo liquid solder.thanks

Reply:I use liquid solder to glue heat tabs onto cyl, heads & blocks..Hope it helps...I wonder if I will be spanked for this one too!?!
Reply:That isn't really a 'solder' as usually meant here, it's an adhesive with an acetone (or similar) solvent. Such adhesives are great for some things, poor for others. It won't bond to everything, can't withstand super high temperatures and is slow drying. Some epoxies are stronger. As asked above, what do you need to do? |
