HJello everyone. Please help.I am a total beginner using a very basic AC welder. I am a piece out of square and flat iron rods that is sort of looks like a ladder. What puzzles me is that although I use the same approach at each step of the ladder. some welds just crack like coal, and others are very strong. Settings are same, so is the welding rod. Obviously I am doing something different, but I have no idea what. Thank you for anyone's time to answer. I can also provide pictures if needed. Muchas gracias.
