Bobcat 250 cover

Howdy folks, just purchased a miller bobcat 250 a couple of weeks ago and was wondering just how good those miller covers were. Getting ready to set up my new toy on the trailer, and I need to protect it from the elements. Just wondering if anybody with one of those covers has had any problem with water leakage, or sun fading. I hate to buy one and it crap out, so to speak after a few weeks. How good do they hold up is the question Im trying to ask.
Reply:I have one on my Bobcat 250NT.   It does a good job keeping the water out.  The fabric is very tough too.  It does sun fade, but not that bad.  Overall I'm happy with it.  It cost $120 at the local weld shop.  Kinda expensive, but it works good.  It was worth it to me.  I usually put it on at night to keep the dew off the welder.One thing you need to remember is you must secure it down good if you intend to drive with it on.  Mine has almost blown off the machine a few times cause I forgot it was on there and took off down the freeway.   Fortunately, each time I happened to notice it flailing in the wind before it got completely loose and flew out.   Now if only I could remember to put it on before the rain starts... Reply:When I go down south to visit my mom I notice that all the Lincoln welders on trucks are all pink in color because of the harsh sun down there.
