Anyone know where I may be able to purchase a set form 1/16 to 3". I had the same set I made out of cold roll for 26 years, went to work after vacation and---WALLA---they were gone along with the 6 contractors we had when I left for vacation. Anyway I remember it took me a long time to cut the sets of 5 each and stamp the size and my name in everyone along with all the pre and post clean-up. Man I was proud of that set also had a nice custom case/box I made for them too! I had it locked to my main box, lock cut, blocks gone. I hope the ******* makes a lot of money with them. Always made my job eaiser! Thanks Ahead for any info Guys! George. If I Can't Weld It!-----It Can't Be Welded!
Reply:Man sorry about what happened. I always had stuff come up missing after going on vacation, really sucks. Maybe try that website that sells the Williams Low Buck tools? I forget the name of it.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op
Reply:I know theres man rules at work and all. But I might make the sh*t hit the fan over this one, specially since they were a personel item. Raise H*ll with the boss and get him to call the contractor and say you want them back. Granted you'll likely never see them again and your name already been grinded off. But if the contractor wants work at your place again you never know. We've had this trouble at times were I work, they usually make the vendors open there gang boxes when they leave, but they know that and they get stuff anyway.
Reply:Man I didn't know you could buy them, I have been making them.I will search around too and let you know if I find some, and if you find some let me know!Yup
Reply:Excuse my ignorance guys but what are fitters gage blocks? |
