Just got off the phone with my brother, he has a Ford E450 Cube van that he uses for his small business.He would like to install a trailer hitch on the cube van so he can pull a decent size trailer when he has large loads. He's shopped around but cannot find a ready made hitch that drops down far enough to be practical, plus he has a 16 foot box and it appears the frame may have to be extended somewhat.Has anyone come accross a hitch for a Ford E450, or is aware of any fabricator that has done work on E450 trailer hitches?Thanks to all.Working on cars and bikes is my hobby, learning to weld the pieces together is my quest.
Reply:Reese makes the Super Titan 3000/4000 series of weld-on super heavy duty 2.5" and 3" reciever hitches for commercial trucks with flatbeds and other work bodies. If the E450 cab/chassis truck has standard 34" frame rail spacing like the F450/550 trucks, the Super Titan should be able to fit the E450 too.
