hello every one , i am new in this area, i used to know nothing about welding, now i am studying it. so i get some questionsinverter welding machines can weld what ? iron? aluminium or cuprum?the basic MMA welding machine such as BX1 series only can weld low carbon steel ?how about the bx6 series and the ZXE1 series which can work unde AC/DC? I totally have no idea about these. is anybody who can guide me some ? THKS
Reply:If the inverter has dc constant-current output for tig, it is for welding steel and stainless. If it is ac, it can weld aluminum or magnesium. In dc stick, you can weld anything you can find electrodes for, including steel, stainless and aluminum, though stick is not the preferred process for aluminum. If the inverter has dc constant-voltage output for mig, it can weld anything you can find mig wire for, including steel, stainless and aluminum, provided you have the correct shielding gas for the application, or use a flux-cored self-shielding wire.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op |
