My friends railing is rusting at all the anchor points, about two inches from the ground. As you know I'm a newbie, so I have questions! How can that be fixed? I think that the railing would have to be removed and new "Feet" Welded on! Would that be the case? They are not rusted through, but pretty pitted. A friend (iron worker) is coming down to fix it, I was just wondering how he would do it. He said he would let me help and give me some pointers. Also how do you repair pitting and other surface issues on a handrail? |
