Iam production welding with a mig. I manufacture seating for Thearters and retactable staduim seating.  Componits vary from small fiddly bits to large componets. Most is jiged.  Any tips as to how to get my mig setup to pump it out?
Reply:Choose a machine with a high duty cycle and more than enough output (amps) and a good heavy duty gun, that way the machine won't slow you down and will be able to last through the constant use.   A Millermatic 252, 350 or 350P with a Bernard QGun are all good choices.   The 350/350P come with the Bernard gun.  The 252 can be upgraded with the Bernard gun easily.Pulse mig can really reduce your post-weld cleanup time.  Pulse is a spray transfer process that leaves very little post-weld spatter on the work.    If you have it running right, you can move your product straight from the welding booth to the paint booth without going through the grinding/re-work area.  The Millermatic 350P is an excellent choice for pulse mig.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op
