A while back I posted pics of a few "car nut Projects" here's an update. I'm going to finish the transmission and exhaust soon. I'll post another update then.
Reply:Thats cool, did you bend the body rods by hand?
Reply:Yep, with a little help from a vise and a hammer. The thing is about 2 feet long and probably weight 30-40 lbs. The tires are a couple pieces of pipe slipped together and welded up. It's completely metal and scratch built from scrapes around the shop. I've got at least a couple hundred hours into it so far.
Reply:I have a 76 Datsun 280Z in my garage that I used to get the 1:6 dimensions right. |
