I will try to post a few pictures of my shop as it went up. I built it out of drill pipe and boiler tubes and it took me about 2 months to get it finished back during the hurricane season..
Reply:Afew more.
Reply:A few moreSo what yall think? Nothing fancy and completly my own design. built it right out of my head.Did very little drawings...If your wondering about the pitch on the roof I built it to match thre pitch on the roof of my house that I m about 90% on..Hope I dont get in trouble for posting so many pictures. Just killin a little time here at work..ss
Reply:looks like its done right. I bet your happy with it I know i would be.One day...I have a bunch of C and Z purlan and I saving up for the rest. That looks really good though. Have you done one before? Around here that would run you about 10-12k to have built.
Reply:Nice job. That slab looks thick enough to drive a tractor trailer onto.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
Reply:Looks nice, great job...No vents though? Wouldnt that get hot enough without the welding added to it? I live in AZ and our school shop has 2 role ups and a big fan/vacum system and it can still get pretty toasty in there.. Then again, i have no idea how that stuff works soo... Either way, Awesome job
Reply:Nice shop, nice job. Yeh, I think you'll want some venting eventually. Easy to cut in tho.
Reply:Thanks,,Yea it does get warm a bit. I did put a vent in on the gable on the back side and plan when everything slows down to add a vent fan. I have built one before it was 20'x30' without the porch. The porch is the only way to go, makes a big difference on the temp not to mention zero rain blowing in.. My other shop had a lean to on each side 10'x30'. In the near future I plan to ad a 14'x30' lean to on the side where the door is.. I think I have around $4300 in it..
