Any Luck with These Gloves?

Ive been looking at the Tillman Onyx 44 Gloves. They are the Black ones and i was wondering if anyone uses them and how well they do. ThanksTJ Attached Images
Reply:Funny that someone might ask that....I tried them and went back.  Someone had told me they liked them more but to me they seemed less durable than the old standby tillmans. I figured its more of a marketing ploy.I like the Tillman Pigskins personally...made for MIG but nice and durable for HOT TIG too.....

Reply:I have a pair, they're more pliable and softer than normal stick welding gloves after being broke in but it seems they get crispy much easier
Reply:Wouldn't buy em if they were the only ones in stock.Tried them on. They were uncomfortable. Spent a couple hours at the LWS and got a first hand review. Guy came in to make a return. Had these gloves for a whole two weeks. As hard as steel. He traded them in for a set of 750s. Can't say I blame him with his experience.
Reply:I tried on a pair of those black ones today, and they didn't fit, or flex like the 25BL's.  This is my first purchase of a Tillman product, and I must say I like the fit and feel of them.  Cost 13 bucks.
Reply:I have a pair and like the feel and the way they fit. I haven't used them yet so I can't quote on durability but the way they feel I think they will do OK.One reason some people may have a problem with them getting stiff is becasue these are advertised as Tig gloves, not stick. Reply:Im thinkin i will stick with the 750's for mig and stuff. And the 850's for stick.. Theyve always done good. I just saw these and was wondering if they were a little more durable. Thanks Guys.
