28 guage picture frame hanging wire works for WP-17 tig torch repair

Had to replace the gas hose on my tig torch, weldcraft wp17.  Couldn't find the wire thin enough to wrap /tighten the hose to the fitting inside the torch handle.Didn't try 0.025 welding wire, however, 28 gauge galvanized frame hanging wire tighten well and slid into the lug easily.    They do sell the wire as torch accessory however my supplier was out.
