10-pin Miller push-pull gun plug wiring

I'm taking the Python off my feeder and putting it on my 350P. The 350P has a 10-pin connector, whereas the older XR and Cobramatic feeders my Python has been connected to have other connectors with different pinout and different number of pins.  I intend to retrofit the feeder with a current model 10-pin receptacle to match the 350P at some later time so I can swap the torches back and forth at will, but that's a seperate issue.  For now, I just want to get the 10-pin plug onto the Python.I have the wiring diagramed out for my Spoolmatic's 10-pin connector for the 350P and there are 8 wires and 8 pins used in the plug. My Python, however only has 7 wires, not 8. It is an MK model Python, not a Miller model. Not sure if that makes any difference.I know where all 7 of the wires go on the new plug, but what do I do about the missing 8th wire? On the Spoolmatic, it is connected to pin A and goes to the gun body (ground).On the Python, am I supposed to jumper the black, negative, wire from the motor (pin B) over to pin A? Or do I just leave it empty and hope it works?
