I would like to buy a MIG WELDER 230 amp, but I want to get exactly what I need.1) MIG WELDER2) CAR Unibody/Frame workI was looking at the Hobart 287 but I was not sure if this would be sufficient to do the work and I do not know the quality of the welders.I was also looking at the Lincoln Electric Pro Mig 180.I would like to stay under $700.00Any thoughts or suggestiosn would be great.Thank YouLast edited by shaggys22; 02-12-2010 at 07:56 AM.

Reply:I've got the Hobart 187, seems to be a pretty good welder for the price. I've run several spools of wire (10#), used it way beyond it's duty cycle a couple times and it has performed flawlessly. Only thing I would like to change on mine is to have a nicer gun and it would be nice to be spool gun ready which I think the 210 class machines are.HH 187Miller Bluestar1EAHP AlphaTig 200X |
