Reply:Nice! I like that it has a 'theme', being a conductor instead of just a guy standing there. Nice little touch with things like the hat too. (at least I think it is a hat, I apologize if it is just the top of his head )
Reply:Thanks for all the great input. I have been trolling around the board for a while this is my first real post and topic I never really introduced myself so here I go. I am a college student that lives at home I picked up welding becuase of my dad and my intrest in mechanics and so on. My dad was a welder/boiler make for over 30 years(now retired). So I don't really have a nice welder I do with what I have. The welder is a HF Arc-180 AC/DC Transformer, as of right now I have a tig running off of it, I have added a foot pedal control for it from some plans I got. Right now I have two projects that I am in the proccess of finish as soon as I do finish I will post pics and write up for anyone who would be intrested. Project one is a High Frequency arc started attachment and the other is a cooler for my new tig torchs. I went a liitle longer then I wanted to babaling in this post but I hope it will be well recieved
Reply:Very cool !John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:Neat little piece of art/sculpture there. And you have at least two of the nuts in the right place, but you left out the big 'bolt' that goes with them. Combine your 'man' with Zap's hot-dog 'man', and watch out world! |
