Has anyone use the Speedglas Pro-Top Hood/HH combo? Opinion?

I see that E-bay has the 9002X Pro-Top system for a decent price & I'm seriously considering it. It'd be nice to hear likes/dislikes before I commit to buying it thoughLast edited by regularfella; 03-09-2010 at 08:39 PM.
Reply:Hey,I haven't used that model, but I do use a Speeglas 9000X. In my opinion Speedglas is the finest auto-darkening hoods on the market. I've been using only Speedglas since 1991. I have never had a problem or defect in any of the Speedgals hoods I have owned. I weld daily at my job and my hood takes a lot of abuse but has never failed. Reply:Buy it!!!!!! That the same lens I've got and I love it. The green isn't as intense as some other helmets. Very clear! I've owned a Miller and  a Jackson and the Speedglas is by far the best.Go hot, or go home!
Reply:Thanks for the responses. I've a 9100XX and I love it but it's not HH compatible so gotta spring for a Speedglas that is. I did have an issue with my lens but they corrected it very quickly. That experience helped me make the decision to stay with their product. Still trying to see which one is the best for me
