Grapple Rebuild

Here is a job in progress.... I'm essentialy rebuiling a hydraulic grapple for an excavator that is used in a scrap yard. There are quite a few repairs that need to be made to this unit so I'll just post stuff in groups....First is the disassembly. Reply:You get all the fun jobs... ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:The boring is done.... at least for the lower bores. Reply:Ok it's done..... New bushing for the tynes... When doing bushings that have a seal I'll quickly machine a bushing driver that will set the bushing to the correct depth with the seal in mind. Reply:Excellent post, excellent work.  I enjoy these types of posts. All I need to do is look and learn. Very informational. The techniques can be applied to any sized projects. Keep them coming.
