Well this is my first welding project, have had lots of help from a welding friend though. These are wings for my snowplow. Wings similar to these run about 700.00. So far i have 38.00 into them..

Reply:Aren't the normal retail wings made from a heavy composite plastic? I'd be worried someone drift over into my lane and it catches their car.John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:They are going to be removable with pins, some are made with a plastic front instead of sheet metal, but most are metal. They will have a rubber bottem incase something caught the edge, it would not rip them off.
Reply:Roger that, I just have a small 7 foot personal plow so I'm not big into plows. It seems like a good alternative to giving a bigger swath for the plow...and cheaper.John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:Where are you located that you have a blizzard plow? I was wondering how far they have spread. They are manufactured next to Michigan Tech where I went to school. Tons and tons of snow, they seem to be good plows.-Cory
Reply:blizzard plows are across the united states, and are no longer manufactured in michigan. Im located in nebraska. |
