I've been doing ornamental ironwork for about 10 months, and i'd like to develop some more skills past basic fences gates handrails(I'd like to improve those skills as well). I used to work in commercial fishing and I dislike not really knowing what im doing. I have a Miller 185 at work. Id like to learn to MIG aluminum, improve the appearance of my short (1/2inch tubing ring welds on 16 ga) welds, anything related to boat fabrication and design, and general fabrication skills, tips, tricks. I thought about going to school, but this is just for a short time until I go back to fishing, and I cant make a . school-level commitment. I want to take as many skills as I can with me, though. If you have a shop or just some equipment in a garage, I can offer you free manual labor in exchange for a little instruction, or just use of your equipment to practice with(I will pay for any consumables). Thanks for your help. |
