Hey anyone know where I can find download basic blueprint reading educational material, and measuring in Metric. ? I need to lean some basics for a 20 question test. Thanks.Gramo
Reply:Measuring in metric is easy as pie. Everything is based on 10. Millimeters are smallest. Next is centimeters, which are 10 millimeters. Next is decimeters, which are 10 centimeters. Next is meters, which are 10 decimeters, or 100 centimeters, or 1000 millimeters. On the blueprint reading, go to any library and look up technical drawing/drafting and weld symbol books. Hobart Brothers has some welding instructional materials used in classrooms that give a good basic understanding of weld drawings and symbols. They're probly available online too.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op
Reply:On this site go down to the "Blueprint Reading, Drawing and Symbols" section and start clicking on links. Some free some not. You'll need a power point viewer. One small site even has a complementary test. http://www.khake.com/page89.html"The things that will destroy America are prosperity at any price, peace at any price, safety first instead of duty first, the love of soft living and the get rich quick theory of life." -Theodore Roosevelt
