Reply:I am not sure, maybe 3 or 4 years ago...Since the units look the same, often you'll find the older pictures mixed with the newer ones.Esab Migmaster 250Lincoln SA 200Lincoln Ranger 8Smith Oxy Fuel setupEverlast PowerPlasma 80Everlast Power iMIG 160Everlast Power iMIG 205 Everlast Power iMIG 140EEverlast PowerARC 300Everlast PowerARC 140STEverlast PowerTIG 255EXT
Reply:My unit is around 5 years old and it has the black front. The revision history in my Owners Manual states photos in manual were updated July 2003 to show the black frontESAB Migmaster 250 Hobart Ironman 230Multimatic 215TWECO Fabricator 181i & 211iHH125EZ - nice little fluxcore only unitMaxstar 150 STH - very nice
Reply:It looks like from mid 1999 to mid 2000 ESAB tried to cut costs on the unit by going away from the dual driven drive roll system that my unit containsI have no idea when ESAB did the update, but from at least the age of my unit and up they have upgraded the contactor from a 40 amp to a 60 amp.ESAB Migmaster 250 Hobart Ironman 230Multimatic 215TWECO Fabricator 181i & 211iHH125EZ - nice little fluxcore only unitMaxstar 150 STH - very nice |
