I am making stringer support plates for my Big Block Chevy Nordic Jet Boat. I am making stringer support plates for the through bolts. The tops of the stringers are radiused so I had to find the radius and found some pipe that matches the radius. I then had to cut the pipe down the center length wise. So here is a trick, tack some flat stock to act as a guide (see pics).This worked out great. I was going to weld the plates to the pipe but I was out of filler.
