How do I tell which kind of hoses I have? I guess there's types T and R, and I have two sets of hoses on an old oxy/acet setup I bought on craigslist. I'm hoping I can use propane as well as acet. Reply:R is for acet. only and T is for most all other gases including acet. as far as knowing what hoses you have it should be on the hose. if you lile me you probably cant read whats on them due to use. other then that i cant be much help
