I found this on craigslist. I know nothing about drill press's so any advice would help. I would buy a new one but I would like to buy a vintage one because the older ones were made in america and they last forever. Is this one worth it, how easy are they to rebuild. All advice welcome. Thanks http://frederick.craigslist.org/tls/1755652570.html
Reply:Delta, aka Rockwell-Delta drill presses are great tools.Parts are still available.Check spindle runout, chuck runout.Blackbird
Reply:$75 sounds like an ok price for that little one. I have an older Taiwan made floor standing model I paid $50 for on Craig's list a few years ago. It is probly from the 1980's. It's a little worn out but it gets the job done.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op

Reply:I found a Bridgeport for sale in Delaware. I don't know anything about them but I know the bridgeport name. Take a look at it and tell me what you think(the pics aren't that great) Assuming it is in good condition do you guys think it's worth it. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/for/1748122666.html |
