Reply:Hey, I just saw that!  It was good, but didn't cover enough.  That modern marvels needed to be at least a 2hour show to cover the advancements in welding like GTAW, PAW, Sub arc and such.  I was disappointed but still was excited that they had it on!
Reply:I saw it too.  they covered structural applications and some exotic processes such as explosion welding but didn't really get into more mundane sort of welding that most folks need done.  Still, it was good to see.  Friends couldn't believe i'd abandon a perfectly good party to watch a show about welding.
