TV stand with speakers

I have just finished one of my most exciting personal projects.  I wanted to design and build a table or stand for my TV that was functional, strong, and original.  Another of my hobbies is DIY speaker building, so I decided I would incorporate a right and left front speaker channel for my home theater INTO the actual table.I used solidworks to design and model the table and create technical drawings to build from... man does that make things easier!  It's so nice to be able to see a real representation of the project as you're designing it, as opposed to just building w/ a mental picture or quick sketch.I used hardwood plywood for the tabletops and shelves (i originally planned to have glass shelves, but for now - plywood) and I have a 5-1/2" woofer, 3-1/2" midrange, and soft-cone tweeter with a custom crossover in each speaker cabinet.Let me know what you think!!!Here are the models for now:And the finished table:

Reply:I used a red mahogany stain to finish it, I didn't install one of the shelves because for now, I have my 1200W mackie amp on the shelf (it will eventually go somewhere else), and the spacing of the shelves won't work with my stack of equipment.And yes... i definitely overdid it on the uprights - 1/4"   But it's what I had around.
