New Welding Bed

Here's some pics of the bed I just finished building for a 07 dodge cab & chassis. let me know what ya'll think.
Reply:Honestly from the look of it , it is a great setup and nice work but one good bump or hole on a jobsite and the rear tires are gonna rub like crazy against fenders.  There does not seem to be alot of room above the tread.  And even on a stiff suspension there is some wheel travel.Come try it out and stay a while.

Reply:Very nice work.  I wish i had the time to build my welding bed, but since the truck I bought already had a good flat bed on it i went from there.  I did start one, but maybe i will be finished by the next truck i buy.   I like the dual bottle mounts also.  I did that with mine as well and it has saved me many times when i needed a spare bottle.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......

Reply:It looks a great deal like the one that i have on my 1 ton except that on the back there is a peice of 3" angle at a V so u can lay a joint of pipe in it with about 2 feet of 1/2" plate across the back for a welding table it also has a plate that lifts up  with a ball to pull a goose neck trailer.. It also has the dual bottle racks and I agree it is a life saver when u are out in the feild on the weekend and can't get another bottle.. great looking job .. Lots of talent in desigining and building that bed. Keep up the great craftsmanship. People see that kind of work and it makes for more business... Terry

Reply:Looks great.... before you paint that you had better put some front and rear corner marker lights in the side panels. Red for the rear and amber to the front you need them D.O.T. regs. Again it looks great._________________Chris

Reply:Everything is in it's place finally! Ready to start working this beast. I took these pics just after spraying it off. I mounted my fire extinguisher on the back of the pass. tool box(not photo'd). I still got to put side lights on the bed but it wont be on the highway any time soon as it will be spending 99% of the time in the plant. Thanks for ya'lls comments.
