Reply:I've looked at many designs, including the most recent one floating around on this site. Took inspiration from many, but built the thing to fit my equipment You only need to be 2% smarter than what you are working on.Lincoln pm140hacksawa big hammer
Reply:Not a big deal man. Mine is one of the more recent ones, that is why I was makin the joke. It looks like it will fit your needs well. Come try it out and stay a while.
Reply:In that case thanks for the clamp hanger idea. I read that you were having trouble deciding on a good way to mount the rear wheels. I used cotter pins, and a 5/8 axl that runs all the way through. the tank sits right on the axl to support the weight. The wheels stick out 1/2" from the back past everything else, that way i can go up curbs and such. You only need to be 2% smarter than what you are working on.Lincoln pm140hacksawa big hammer
Reply:Looks plenty good nuff to me.
Reply:That thing looks pretty good with clamp rack cable hooks and etc. One thing I would do is come down on handle aways bent it back past the tank valve. Might be a little more handy.Try not use $10.00 worth of time on $.10 job!!Miller Bobcat

Reply:LarryM, I built the cart for a 40cf tank. Soon I found out that the nearest gas supplier is 30mi. from my house. So bought a 90cf, and its a little big. It does not get in the way though. Im fabing a tank clamp that will allow me to bolt the tank in place using 1 1/2" steel straps and 3/8 bolts. Ill post pics as soon as i finish. Reply:Looks good. How do you like the Dewalt automotive type air compressor? I've been thinking about getting that same model.
Reply:CHS, Its a great compressor. Fills to 200psi. It will run any airtool i've used nonstop. All the dewalt tools I own seem to last forever, and i'm not nice to my tools You only need to be 2% smarter than what you are working on.Lincoln pm140hacksawa big hammer
