Got tired of the old ramps I built several yrs ago so built some new ones from some of the "Yamaha tubing".The closeup is of the "gobbers" I put on the crossbars. I figured out the easy way to put them on,just shut the gas off on the mig. Keeps the "pucker factor" down when loading/unloading in wet/icy conditions!!!! I also put the crossbars closer together for loading/unloading the snowblower.                       Mike  Oops, sorry Zap. I forgot the dime!!!!Attachment 11333Attachment 11334Last edited by MicroZone; 07-24-2007 at 09:44 PM.Ol' Stonebreaker  "Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes"Hobart G-213 portableMiller 175 migMiller thunderbolt ac/dc stick Victor O/A setupMakita chop saw
Reply:They look good, I need to build a set with all that angle scrap I just got! What did you use at the end for the tailgate?John -  fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!-  bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:I like the traction spuckles...Dime.. ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Micro, I cut what was needed from the "footpads" in the "Yamaha crates that the tires sit on. I also added some small pieces at the bottom to stick into the ground so ramps can't slide off the tailgate from wheeler tires trying to spin while loading. Don't ask how this was "learned"!!!                             Mike  PS: If you can't make it out, the bumper sticker says" Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most". It d fits me and my age real well!!!Last edited by mla2ofus; 07-24-2007 at 10:03 PM.Ol' Stonebreaker  "Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes"Hobart G-213 portableMiller 175 migMiller thunderbolt ac/dc stick Victor O/A setupMakita chop saw
Reply:OK,Micro. I took two more pics of top and bottom so you can see what I used. The pic of the bottom is w/ the ramp upside down,of course.                    MikeAttachment 11343Attachment 11344Last edited by MicroZone; 07-24-2007 at 11:20 PM.Ol' Stonebreaker  "Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes"Hobart G-213 portableMiller 175 migMiller thunderbolt ac/dc stick Victor O/A setupMakita chop saw
