well lets see...when you first sign up here at the welding web your automatically a "solderer"so i guess mrs zap is a real solderer..a few posts back "welder man" wanted to see some of mrs zaps stained glass work..the pics are "ok" but its hard photographing glass with light on the other side...for what its worth here is some of the stuff she has made for the house.....zap!heres the back doorAttachment 3869heres a lion in progressAttachment 3870heres a insert in the back doornotice how its in "one" piece of glass made into 4 pcs..Attachment 3871heres a glass window next to the front door...its made of scrap glass and has no rhyme or reason..Attachment 3872Last edited by zapster; 12-27-2007 at 05:20 PM.I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:Miss's zap has some serious talent, Good work.My wife does stained glass so I have a feel for the time involved. But hey---for every hour they spend bent over that table cutting clipping nipping grinding shaping------is an hour of silence  ..

Reply:I've always thought there were two kinds of staind glass, the ones I like & the ones I don't like with no in-between.  I must say, these look good.  Very nice & proper recognition to Mrs Zapps.

Reply:Well I could'a sworn those were the real things, just distorted a bit by the glass.  I suppose that means that here etching is pretty dern good as well...fooled me.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
Reply:hey zap--opps  mrs zap is that acid etching , electric pencil or sand blasting  i have done  acid an  sand blast  real  good work  didn t see the stuff in oval   but do now  well done a-gain

Reply:Nice work!  I have done a bunch of it back in school and I can tell by looking at those that there is a lot of skill there.  Those are some tricky cuts with those curves!
Reply:Thats real nice! So is that where you put copper foil on the edges and then solder it together? I never got the hang of it and gave up.
