Slag removal

Here is one that shows how nicely slag can be reomved when everything is in sink..... This is the finished weld...... one pass Excel arc 71, 1/16", notice that the slag is complete.... All I did was slide it to the side... Here is the weld...The slag ring.... Broke when I picked it up but for the most part it stayed together..Thanks for looking_________________Chris

Reply:Looks like you might be handy at that. Favorite right now is a Miller Syncro 200.Tons of tools and I blame at least one of them when things don't go right.

Reply:its mig? I was thinking it was dual shield because of the slag and all and stick most of the time has some type of shake in it. But anywayyyy i love when that happens and ya 7024 is way awesome for that
Reply:welder155, looks like dual shield.Nice looking weld.  Very consistent.  We use dual-shield at work and it peels off like that.  I love being able to just move the slag out of the way with my nozzle and continue welding.
