I make hay feeder and use sucker rods. Is there any opinions on the best way to weld sucker rods that make them stick together.
Reply:I've used a lot of sucker rods in fences and the only way you can weld them and make it good is with 7018. When I build pipe fencesthat have sucker rod in them is use 1/8" 6010 and 3/32 7018 as my welder welds them on the same setting so you don't have to keep changing the machine setting for different rods.
