Reply:Umm... What model Lincoln? If it's a tombstone, 10 KW is probably too lite to run that buzz box full out. You probably need a 12-15kw gen set to do that. The Tombstone will want 50amps/230v and that gen will not give you that. Most 10KW gensets I've looked at give you about 40 amps at 230v. Also is the genset 10kw continuous or 10KW surge? Lots of the smaller gensets list surge kilowatts and in small print list the cont KW. If that gen set is 10KW surge, and 7.5kw cont., you are way underrated for a tombstone..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Reply:50 amps x 230 volts is 11,500 watts, so you are maxing your generator out right off the bat.
