this patch is made of .040 steel, and it kicked my butt. my 1/16" wire was to big. I had half of a 1/16" tungsten that i used up in about 20 minutes. i went to HF and bought some 1/16" tungsten. when i got home and opened up the tungsten they were 3/32" tungsten, packaged wrong. so i just worked with what i had, and my welds kinda show it. i bought some .025 mig wire yesterday but it was too small. i have to do the same kind of patch on the other side, but i will be more prepared for it.
Reply:Did you run a continous bead, too much heat will cause warping. If you don't want to stand behind our Troops, feel free to stand in front of them.
Reply:Tiggin' body work style on sheet... After a while you'll figure out body position with relation to everything else as far as to going even faster..Its not as easy as a MIG.. Hats off for even getting involved......zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
