Thought I'd post a few pics of my 63 SA200. This welder was given to me a couple of weeks ago after sitting up for years. I now have it running thanks to the help I got on the Lincoln forum. It runs great with no smoke. I am now in the process of repainting it. Attached Imageswelder

Reply:My Sa 200 is still my machine of choice if I am running stick all day. If I get a pipe job, the Miller goes on vacation. Nothing like the sound of that old lo rpm motor puring out a straight pipe. I can get a 64' that needs alot of work for short money, think I might add it to the fleet.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
Reply:Funny, I've got one of those in my backyard right now.  I'm using it to butt together I-beams so we can use them to lift our house.  It's an excellent welder, one of the few generator welders with a REAL governor.  This one is on a trailer, though.  If you're lucky, I'll post some pictures of the welders and the welds.  This thing lays 6011 beads that look like TIG welds.  I always used to think 6011 rod was crap and never used it.Last edited by 76GMC1500; 09-21-2007 at 10:42 PM.

Spools are too hard to do for a decent fabricator, but I have seen some pretty messed up home-brewed ones before because they weren't thought out or the hubs were welded off center, etc. TBD, my experiences would agree with you there. I started off with a new Miller engine drive, long story short it couldn't hack it, this old beauty of a machine sure can though.Owner of Bushwacker Mobile WeldingPictures

Reply:On some pickups with regular beds, 200s wont fit sideways unless you remove the exciter cap or wack the end off. The end of this one was dented and had a shortened one in the pile.

Reply:You cant beat the Cables kit for the price. Thats all I use. Ive been rough on a few and they are still working. Its on the back of the truck to get load banked. I have some more to do on this one, but it will be nice. I removed the r 57 idler, and went back with all Lincoln oem stuff. Thanks Troy.
