A customer asked me to tighten or secure the cable track for a telescoping boom. I heated the nuts red and tried to take them off so I could put on a washer and tighten them. Well, 3 out of 4 snapped the bolt off, so I cleaned it up with a die grinder and Migged it vertical up..030 wire 300 ipm, 18 volts, AG8 Beads are neither concave or convex.Last edited by David R; 09-12-2007 at 06:52 PM.Real world weldin. Reply:No, its a triangle weave. Left, Right, Center, (above) left, right, center......Makes the bead flat as can be. The metal will follow the heat right? Heat in the center sucks the belly in. I have been trying to get some one to make a video of it. Works with stick too. One pass.
Reply:Looks good, is that -3 or -6 wire ?Anything worth doing is worth doing RIGHT

Reply:For the first time, I tried to take a video with my camera today (not of welding). Gonna set it on a tripod, hang a helmet in front of it and see what happens. Nick, glad I was of some use. DavidReal world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
