Stack of dimesor Stack of nickles; when describing a nice weld bead?
Reply:Depends on how big the bead is.
Reply:stack of dimes is a term i have heard when talking about AL. TIG BEAD (do to the ripple effect)
Reply:Depends on the metal, the thickness, the currency, etc.Could be a stack of Yen, or Marks, depending on what/where you're welding.So far most of my stick welds in class look like a stack of Chucky Cheese tokens.
