So I understand the "E". The 1st and 2nd digits in a 4 digit number and 1st, 2nd and 3rd in a 5 digit number mean tensile strength in ksi, the fourth is position, (1= all, 2 = flat/horiz, 3=flat only) So what does the last digit mean? Is there a way to tell? I've looked it up, but I can't find a "If you see this number it means this" type chart.
