Chinese Welding Wire Email Spam - anyone else get these?

Ok, I'm not sure where to post this, but I keep getting email from some Chinese welding wire company who thinks that I am one of the largest companies in my country. There are several other email addresses that have been sent the same email an I'm wondering if they are email addresses of other members here at WeldingWeb. This is the only place online that I discuss welding so I'm wondering if somehow this company got our email addresses from this website. Reply:Hi carl you may have bought something at one time in the past and gave someone your email address. That company may have sold your info on a list of potential sales to fellow businesses. This unfortunately is a common practice now a days. Check that email that was sent to you and see if they have an unsubscribe address to respond to. Reply:+1 to what gwiley and specter said.I don't know if google has their stuff together better than other e-mail providers, but I don't get anything in the way of spam in my e-mail accounts using googles stuff.  Spam sucks, I don't know of a whole lot of solutions beyond switching e-mail providers.  I have used many e-mail providers in my time, aol, yahoo, netzero, comcast, and plenty of others.  At this point in time googles spam filters are the best, by far.Miller 330 a/bp water cooledI believe in gun control, I hold my gun with two hands.  If you want to know why, click here.Buy American or bye America.

Reply:The email addresses are from yahoo and msn. I know of no legitimate company of any decent size that uses yahoo or msn. Mostly it's scammers that use those two as well as g-mail.Besides, I see no problem with posting them here as they are spamming him. If they in turn get spammed, so be it.
