Reply:with my limited knowledge in welding, i woudl say they look good... the beads look flat, the ripples seem pretty consistant (could use a little work), and ther is little to no undercut (i didn't see any, but that doesn't mean it's not there). the only thing that i am not sure about is your heat settings... i have a hard time know if I am at the correct heat settings, let alone someone else. what were your settings?hope that helps.Later,Andy
Reply:Well 95 amps and around 22 volts, i think.Metaltrades.co.uk
Reply:Your voltage is to high, not enough reenforcing. At 95 amps, volts should be around 16 to 17. What size wire are you using and the shielding gas. If you are Using 98/2.2, WHAT GASES ARE THE MIXES. JOHNSMAW,GMAW,FCAW,GTAW,SAW,PAC/PAW/OFCand Shielding Gases. There all here. :

Reply:3.2 mm basic electrode 6mm plate. I translate that as 1/8" 6013? 6011? and 1/4" plate 95 amps.Looks nice.DavidLast edited by David R; 11-19-2007 at 06:06 PM.Real world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:95 amps... must be 6013. I will run it as low as low or high as needed, very versitile rod. looks like some nice 6013 beads too. ill give you 9/10 but if the pics were bigger it would probly change. nice one!Nothing Ever Got Done By Quitting, Never Give Up.
