Reply:Thanks ....I forgot to mention i designed the small table so that it will fit inside the open area under the workbench when it not in use...
Reply:I can see you put allot of thought into that project and it sure paid off. It would be very nice to see the whole thing completely done. Keep us posted! Reply:Please don't take this the wrong way....Is this thing a workbench or a f'ing computer desk? It looks really neat and would be a hella desk for an office, withstand fat people that seem to find a piece of office furniture not made for bottom ends to sit on, and make a neat conversation peice to boot Either case I like it, its very cool!Rich
Reply:By the way....Please post some more pics when you put it into use.Rich
Reply:Very nice.  Do you plan on casters?
Reply:Yes the small table will be on castors recycled from a rusted out engine hoist.....
Reply:More pictures...
Reply:Parked in its little garage.. Fits nicely... Ok so the small mobile fab table is finished, just need to mount the vice and paint it up....Tomorro the work bench gets finished off, and they both get painted.....

Reply:Excellent  bench  simple  and sturdy, is the tubing  .125 wall? your design is sparking an intrest in building my own. I dont copy another person design but   incorperate many other ideas gleaned from others  posts.  did you build the fencing seen in pictures?    Looking foward to seeing more of your posts.
Reply:yeah the tubing is .125", and im glad to spark your or annyone elses intrest...I offered to duild the gates but they where included in the deal with the contractor who built the house...lol when he saw my work he asked me if i wanted to come work with him...lol
Reply:Nice pair of Kni-pex pliers on the bench!!My stepdad gave my wife a pair.  I always thought they were a gimmick.  She loved it, used it for a year before I needed to borrow it once while we were working together.  I fell in love with them instantly and bought one of every size.  I use them more often than the Channellocks and the Crescent wrenches combined.yup as soon as they came in the warehouse i said these are mine, lol didnt even make it to the show room....They are awsome, first time i used them i told myself, im never gonna use a crescent or channel lock again..Only thing is the cost the one on the table would have cost me around $50.00...Last edited by stomper4x4; 06-01-2006 at 12:43 AM.

Reply:That mount is pure genious. I LOVE that bench also, you can always pull the table out and grab a chair for welding, planning, or small things that would be better done while sitting. The more I learn about the projects the more excited i get. Seeing stuff like this really gets me going! It's also nice to see that you can weld in a garage, I've been REALLY worried about bringing a welder home to my garage (I have no other place to do it) and doing some damage. I mean the sheetrock is up and its 5/8"s inch fire block. I think the Oxy/Ace is what is scaring me the most. :P- Jason
Reply:very nice job. it looks plenty tough. whats attached to the two tires under the tarp? ill bet it a secret project.......
Reply:it needs a bunch of flames on the back splash like swells did, that would look cool.
Reply:great job thats my next project
