Well I make my own Christmas tree stand last year and since some were posting on designs I thought I would post mine. It a simple but strong and looks nice to me. I made it in such away I could bend it a little to make the tree straight. The tree will never fall over with this stand unless you really try. I just use a old plastic container for the water but plan on making a water tank that can be filled with out get under the tree. I will post that later when I build it. Reply:my opinion is to use an old, i dont know the english word . 3 claws, right next to the gearbox on a lathe, what is it called?. and just mount it on a Plexiglas plate .Its now very pretty, but it sure works .¤If you got money, i've got time
