Reply:I can't tell, but did you put a flange on the top ridge? After looking at these in the stores I have been thinking about building my own. The store ones are so thin and I don't know how good they would hold up.
Reply:there is a flange on the top ridge , the chinese letters which mean "fire" and "metal" were cut out with a plasma. these were made out of 10 guage mild steel.my friend decided on the cut outs i left mine plain. i think i like hers better, lol!! Iput the legs on mine today and made most of the lid.will have more pics monday!! thanksCharliesmom
