I was thinking of making some attatchments for my harbor freight 12 ton press. I would like to bend 1/4" material. From what I have seen there is a "v" shaped die and two upright blocks to situate the piece while it is getting bent. Has anyone made anything to go onto a press like mine to bend some plate? Id like to make some suspension brackets and such.HTP Invertig 201Lincoln Idealarc SP250Miller 180 AC StickBy farmall:They should have held the seagull closer to the work, squeezing evenly for best deposition.
Reply:Check out the mini break that I posted. It is 5 pages back now, I even posted my plans. It bends 1/8" plate easily. Beef it up a bit and simplify it to fit in a press.

I don't remember the thickness he could do, but just you could just beef it up.Latest Toys Miller 180 Mig and Elite Mask!!Wright Welder 225ACShop OutFitters 20/20 Bending SystemHypertherm 380 Plasma30 Years of Sparking (Electrical & Welding)
