Howdy,I have a Maxstar 152 w/ Snap Start HF unit and foot pedal. The unit has been in storge for over a year and i just got it out to run. Everything seems normal but I dont think the shielding gas is flowing. 2000 PSI and tank side, 20-40 at output side, can flow gas from tank to end of hose where it connects to Snap Start. Can blow air from end of torch hose to head of torch.Should gas flow when pedel is pressed? I have all settings switched to /14 not panel and the Pre and Post gas time settings are max. I could swear that gas would flow when the pedal was pressed and no arc was needed. That way you could cool a fresh weld.Thanks for any info,MeanGreen |
