ta 185 cleaning cycle - how good is it?

So, I was wondering if the ta 185 offers enough cleaning to eliminate the need for physically removing surface oxide on aluminum?  that would be sweeeeet....  I'm about to embark on my first AC/aluminum experience and I'm wondering if it will jive with my fantasies.
Reply:The AC cycle does quite a bit of cleaning but it should weld much easier if you clean off the oxide mechanically (with a brush) and then wipe it down with acetone just before welding.
