have any pics of plain jane window security guards they wouldn't mind sharing? I have a request to make some just not sure what to do. I was thinking of using vertical round bar through some flat bar with, some mounting tabs. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks

Reply:i really like that saw-resistance idea... i remember seeing it somewhere else, but can't remember where. some 3/4" round bar inside of some 1"x1"x16 ga square tube would work really spiffy too. a 20' length of 1x1x16 right now is about $9.40 at whole sale and the 3/4" round bar is less than $5 per 10 ft. section. some 1"x1/8" or 2"x1/8" flat stock would do the trick for the mounting tabs too... just make sure you are going into a solid stud when you mount them.Later,Andy |
