I have been seeing acouple of the ln 25 machines pop up around here lately between $450 and $700. I have a alum spool gun for the machine already that I have never looked up just becuase of how much more the small spools are verses the big spools. I have never really messed with a mig off of an engine drive and im wondering what needs to be done to run it off of my pro 300? Have seen the miller 12 go for around $900 to $1300 but nothing local I could test.Vantage 300 kubota ,miller 304 xmt ,lincoln ln 25 pro , ranger 305 G, plenty of other tools of the trade to make the sparks fly.
Reply:you can run either units . i think they weld nicely. prices that you speak of are great for a used ln-25 providing its not beat up. miller price seems to be right for used . my only strong point for either machine is that with the miller you can buy the liners seperate and with lincoln ln-25 you have to buy the gun at 400 plus. |
