This is another hot water heater for an Amish greenhouse.Finished up the welding on this one today, it's quite a bit bigger than the other one I posted. The outer shell is about 2000 gallon capacity then has half of a 500 gallon propane tank inside of it for a firebox.I am going to try to get back up there Saturday as he said he should have it all hooked up an running. The greenhouse is about 160ft by 30ft. The pipe on the bottom is the return water, it comes out the top and goes overhead the length of the house with a reservoir on top at the other end then drops to a manifold like the one on this end and circulates by convection.Just love welding that nasty galvanize. Reply:That 6" Galv pipe on the ground looks like you robbed an irrigation pivot, hehe.   I've welded a many mile of that stuff, and it can definitely be a pain.  Work looks good.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......

Reply:That's without a doubt the toughest galv I have ever experienced in my years in business.  I'll tell ya a secret if you don't already know it.  You can't grind it off with a regular grinding wheel, but if you use disk designed for Aluminum then it will cut it right off.  They don't last long, but they won't clog up like a regular disk will.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
Reply:Thanks for the tip I'll try that next time, I about gave up on the grinder and just used the torch and burned it off what I could.Trailblazer 302Hobart Stickmate AC/DCLincoln SP 135 TSmith torchSpoolmatic 30A
Reply:Man!Thats pretty cool.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Here's a couple more of the other end manifold. I almost hate to post these after looking at the beads "pipe fitter" shows on here. Attached ImagesTrailblazer 302Hobart Stickmate AC/DCLincoln SP 135 TSmith torchSpoolmatic 30A
Reply:Wow, that's a pretty unique project. That galv. looks like an eternity of pidgeon poop on the pipe!!! It looks very thick. Keep in the fresh air for that one!!!And then, after so much work...... you have it in your hand, and you look over to your side...... and the runner has run off. Leaving you holding the prize, wondering when the runner will return.
Reply:no pump,,,,,,,cool
Reply:Is that like the Garn heaters that has a secondary combustion chamber that reburns the exhaust?
