Have any of you guys out there used a MM 251 for any body work. If so could you give me a little feed back on how it worked out for you. Thanks
Reply:What sort of bodywork are you looking to do? I have used my MM250 for some sheet metal work.
Reply:all i am really trying to do is replace a few pannels and get rid of all of the cancer nothing major. does it weld smooth on the sheet metal?
Reply:If all you're mainly needing is a unit for sheet metal, Miller's MM 210 with an .023 solid wire and C-25 has an very smooth arc on light ga sheet, and comes in at around $500 cheaper then the 251. To answer your question though, the 251 is a very good sheet metal unit.
Reply:Thanks for your help guys. I am going to be getting the MM 251 for some of my larger applications, and I also have some fixing to do on my old mopar. |
